


ISUF is the international organization of urban form for researchers and practitioners. It was inaugurated in 1994, bringing together urban morphologists worldwide. It seeks to advance research and practice in fields concerned with the built environment. Members are drawn from several disciplines, including architecture, geography, history, sociology and town planning.
ISUF organizes conferences, publishes the journal Urban Morphology and provides an international framework for communication between members.
ISUF 2023 (the 30th International Seminar on Urban Form) will take place on 4 - 9 September 2023 Belgrade, Serbia. The general theme of the conference is ‘Praxis of Urban Morphology’. Visit the conference website for further information.
Urban Morphology volume 26.2 (October 2022) is now available for institutional subscribers in journal online. Volume 27.1 of the journal will be published in April 2023.
